This report provides detailed insights into the United Nations' interventions during the final year of the United Nations Sustainable Development Framework (UNSDF 2018-2022). It highlights the progress made across four priority areas and eight categories of results, including health, nutrition, and food security, social protection, employment, skills, and economic recovery, social cohesion, climate change, digital transformation and innovation, as well as SDG-driven planning, financing, and data.
An important milestone captured in this report is the joint signing of the new five-year Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF 2023-2027) between the United Nations and the Government of Sri Lanka. This framework signifies a shared commitment to defining collective development priorities and outlining the contributions that the UN will make in Sri Lanka in the coming years.
