UN expert calls for ‘inclusive society’ to end scourge of slavery

Tomoya Obokata, the UN Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of slavery shared the results of his visit to Sri Lanka at a press briefing on Friday, 3 December 2021. The Special Rapporteur’s report on the visit will be presented to the Human Rights Council in September 2022.
